The Strategy Review Sessions

The Strategy Review Sessions are marketing one-on-ones for individuals, small business owners, and entrepreneurs who’d like the input of a CMO but cannot afford to have one on their team full-time.

While we talk about your brand and goals, you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, brainstorm ideas, and learn valuable insights as we review your strategy. And instead of wading through various articles and cookie-cutter methods found online, you’ll receive direction specific to your brand, audience, and time.

No group calls. No mastermind classes. No pre-recorded modules.

Just you and me. Your questions. My feedback.

Get all the details below.

What topics are available?

The below four topics are the most popular based on past client needs and conversations.

Social Platform Strategic Review: See your platform with new eyes as we review your content and images. This session includes: a front-end review, current hashtag branding (if applicable), and creating a strategic plan for establishing, growing, and curating community. Ideal for brands heavily depending on an Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn business page to reach audiences, or LinkedIn individual profile. (One profile account will be reviewed per session.)

Brand Audit: Similar to the Platform Review, a Brand Audit allows us to take a step back and review your brand as a whole. This session includes: a high-level, front-end overview of your website and individual platforms; branding consistency and how it’s presented to audiences; determine what’s working and what needs improvement; and create a high level plan for you.

Brand Launch Overview: If you’re getting ready for a brand launch – or a new product, service, or campaign – you probably have a long list of questions, like: “What scheduler should I use?”, “Should I be on Pinterest?”, and “Who is my audience?” During this session we’ll review best practices for launching and what tools will help you in creating brand awareness, while focusing on your brand and desired audiences specifically.

Campaign Strategy Review: While social media can inform and educate on a daily basis, a website and e-newsletter allows you to build and establish community. During our session, we’ll review your current strategy, newsletter structure and timeline, and editorial calendar for the brand’s campaign across its social platforms and website.

All are front-end reviews, meaning no passwords are required.

What’s the Process? What happens?

Set the Appointment: Fill out the sign-up form and tap “send.” We’ll quickly review and a scheduler link will be sent for you to select a date and time that works for you. You’ll need to pay to reserve your spot at that time.

Confirmation: After the session is confirmed and payment received, you’ll receive a follow-up questionnaire. It’s extremely important this form is returned as soon as possible to ensure our session is productive.

You’ll receive reminder emails about the appointment 2 days prior and on the day of our meeting. If you need to change the meeting time, please do it as soon as possible out of respect to others who may want that time slot and to our schedule as well. We prep for every meeting so we’re able to advise and inform to the best of our abilities. (Review our meeting policies here.)

Day Of: Log into Zoom after receiving an email reminder to ensure any updates are competed prior to the call. For the call, we’ve found it’s best for clients to use a lap/desktop and to be in a space you’ll be able to talk openly and freely. Remember: this is your time to ask all the questions, brainstorm, and start laying the groundwork for your strategy.

In short, we ask that you show up, ready to participate in the conversation.

After the Call: Within 2 business days after the session, you’ll receive an outline of our discussion, including tips covered and a list of viable resources specific to our conversation.

A link to schedule the second meeting (a 30-minute follow-up call) will be sent to you within the following week. We suggest you schedule it 2 weeks after the initial call, so you can ask any questions that may have come up while implementing your plan.

Who will I meet with?

These 1:1s are with Asia Rau, The Strategic Ampersand’s owner and creative director.

Do you have an in-person Meeting option?

Yes! If you’re in Portland, Oregon, we can meet up in person.

What can I expect? Do you have any examples?

The Strategy Review Session includes: one (1) 60-minute strategic review session with a follow-up email, including step-by-step how-tos/worksheets, noted tips, article links, and other items related to our discussion; and one (1) 30-minute follow-up consultation with a follow-up email if needed.

Each session is extremely different since every brand is completely unique, even for those in similar or competing industries. Customized, proprietary information is shared with each client based on the conversation and client needs.
